Called water cashmere by the weavers who make it — so fine a full metre passes through a finger ring. This was the test the Mughal emperors applied. The standard has not changed.

Spun from the finest grade mountain pashmina, this is a lightweight shawl for evenings, travel, and the gap between seasons. Cool enough for summer, considered enough for everything else.

The weave is semi-automatic — the only concession to modernity in a process that has remained largely unchanged for centuries.
